In June 2026, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) approved the marketing of Shurui Kiolexcel Injection (Kailimei®), an autologous CAR-T cell therapy targeting CLDN18.2. This is the world’s first CAR-T cell therapy approved for solid tumors, breaking the previous industry paradigm where over ten CAR-T therapies globally were exclusively indicated for hematologic malignancies.
