Cardiology Center

The center has four wards with 106 beds and 66 medical workers (including eight professors, six associate professors, three PhDs, and seven postgraduates) in total.The center has 65,000 person-times of cardiovascular outpatient services, over 5,400 person-times of inpatients, and over 1,700 cardiac intervention operations (including over 750 Level III and IV operations) per year, and is leading in the province in terms of diagnosis and treatment techniques.

Thanks to the Hong Kong and Macao Medicine and Equipment Connect policy, the center has pioneered multiple innovative surgical clinical applications in the Chinese mainland, such as the first batch of Symplicity Spyral™ radiofrequency ablation (RDN) operations for the renal artery sympathetic nerve for hypertension treatment, and the clinical application of pulsed electric field ablation operations for atrial fibrillation treatment,providing new therapeutic options to patients.
