It is a Key Medical Specialty of Foshan during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period, the Chancheng District Severe Maternal Rescue Center and the Chancheng District Birth Defect Prevention and Control Center. Since the hospital was officially founded in 1958, the Obstetrics Department of Chancheng Hospital has a history of nearly 60 years. With the rapid development of the hospital and in response to the regional health development plan of Chancheng District, a new International Women and Children’s Building will be expanded on the basis of the hospital’s existing Obstetrics & Gynecology and Pediatrics Departments. The project will balance accessible medical care and high-end medical services, focusing on three key specialties: maternal-infant medicine, rehabilitation and healthcare. It is planned to set up 18 wards, over 20 specialized departments and 550 beds, with a High-End Perinatal Medicine Center, a Women’s Healthcare Center and a Children’s Health Center to provide comprehensive one-stop maternal and infant care services.
