Dr. Chen specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal diseases, with particular expertise in cervical spondylosis, ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament of the cervical spine, cervical deformity, cervical spine trauma, lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, and lumbar spondylolisthesis. He is also skilled in minimally invasive surgical treatment for spinal conditions.

With over two decades of clinical experience in orthopedics, Dr. Chen has held prominent positions including Vice President of Orthopaedic Hospital, Deputy Director of the Department of Orthopaedic Medicine, Director of the Spine Centre, and Director of the Second Spine District. He currently serves as a Professor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. His leadership has significantly advanced spinal surgery practices and patient outcomes.

Dr. Chen has published 11 first-author papers in peer-reviewed journals, covering topics such as surgical treatments for spinal stenosis and minimally invasive techniques. His research includes studies on miR-145's role in prostate cancer bone metastasis and microscope-assisted surgical methods for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. He has also led two major research projects funded by the Foshan Bureau of Science and Technology.
