Dr. Deng specializes in nephrology, with particular expertise in:

• Diagnosis and treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis, refractory nephrotic syndrome, IgA nephropathy, recurrent urinary tract infections, interstitial nephritis, acute kidney injury, and uremia

• Diagnosis and management of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)-related kidney disease

• Peritoneal dialysis catheter insertion

• Creation and revision of complex arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs) for hemodialysis access

• Balloon angioplasty for stenotic or thrombosed arteriovenous fistulas

• Placement of long-term hemodialysis catheters under digital subtraction angiography (DSA) guidance

With extensive clinical experience in nephrology, Dr. Deng has:

• Developed expertise in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic kidney diseases

• Performed a wide range of dialysis access procedures and minimally invasive interventions for patients with end-stage kidney disease
